Amy Stark

Grant Writer

Amy Stark began her career in nonprofit associations while an undergraduate at Indiana University. After graduating with a degree in education she realized that she liked using her education background to provide education for adults who were continuing their professional education.

Amy worked with membership, publications, and finance departments with the Organization of American Historians and became the Director of Conventions for the organization in 2001. After twelve years in that role she took over as the Director of Meetings for the National Council of Teachers of English, where she was responsible for multiple conventions and trade shows each year.

Amy was appointed executive director of the Girls Inc. of Monroe County where she spent three years leading a charitable organization providing education and activities for girls and young women. She returned to association management as the Director of Administration with the Foodservice Consultants Society International, Americas Division.

Amy enjoys being outdoors in beautiful Southern Indiana, riding horses and boating on Lake Monroe.
